Father Ken, a priest I truly love and admire here at my school gave a really great homily today during mass this morning. So funny, the whole church was silent listening to his homily and he said something funny and I literally laugh out loud and I was the only one and I had to cover my mouth cause I was pretty loud. haha
So Father Ken mentioned in his homily that today is the day of prayers for vocation. So he wore the same chasuble that he wore when he got ordain. I thought that was so powerful and neat.
In his homily this morning, he shared with us a story about a foot ball coach name Vince Lombardi. He was ask to coach at cities where the teams really sucks that no body else wants to coach. So he picked a team in Wisconsin where they had really nice churches and a great Christian community. The coach had so much faith and love in God that it really inspires me.
He said that the most important thing to him in life is going church, the Eucharist and Praying. Those are the 3 things that keeps him going each day. The really bad team he had to coach became one of the best team in the NFL theGreen Bay. He said that he owes all his success to God. He would like keep one hand in his pocket to do the rosary during games. He made dots on his stirring wheel so he can do the rosary while he driving and the first thing he does when ever he goes to a new city is look for a church. He even ask a priest to change the time of mass in the morning so he can make it to church everyday before work.
This really shows that through God, you really can do anything. Such an inspiring foot ball coach.

Dating sucks. Unwarranted advice from friends and family make things worse.
They mean well. But they often get the whole “empathy” thing wrong. Years
