I got a A+ on my speech for my speech class on Friday and it's for my speech portfolio too =]. I can't say that I spend too much time on it, but it really makes me feel good to be naturally good at something that I enjoy doing and that is public speaking.
Last week I got to do the reading for the Vietnamese mass in Vietnamese of course. I was super nervous and was shaking like crazy, but I felt so great afterward doing it. I can't believe last year when I was first taking Vietnamese class, I couldn't even name the vows and the accent marks and now I can some what read and write in Vietnamese. Such a great accomplishment for me =].
Last week was 2 of the guys birthday here and it's a tradition that we throw people in the pool for their birthday. Well one of the guys Trieu hid himself in a empty office right before midnight. There were about 8 of us walking around the school at midnight looking for him. When we finally found him, we couldn't get to him cause he locked himself in the room. As paid back, Dong switch his door with another guy door so he couldn't go back to his room at night.lolz. He escape that night but the next day after our Vietnamese evening prayer we all grabbed him and carried him down stair and threw him in the pool. The same night at midnight was the other guy birthday Thinh. It was such a blast throwing him in cause it involved handcuffs and removal of clothing. Good Times! Good Times!
So Brian randomly posted a youtube video on my facebook of a girl singing and now I'm like totally in love with her. I was almost late to mass this morning cause I couldn't stop watching her videos. She is so pretty and I love her voice! Even when she doesn't sing and just talks, her voice makes me melt. The only thing that would make me like her more if that she sings Christian music.
Here CD came out a day after my birthday. If I knew about it earlier, I could of pre order it and got a sign CD from her sigh
