It so strange, I grew up being tease all my life and then I come here and the teasing continues. The only difference is the teasing here is out of love PURE LOVE. Today at the dinning table and doing dishes I was reminded how much I love the "child play" that goes around here. I constantly get tease by the guys here but every time I walk away there a hug smile on my face because I know that they did it out of love. It's pretty awesome because sometimes I can be having a bad day and some guy randomly comes to me and joke around with me and I can't help but laugh/smile at the situation and it really brightens up my day. Being tease growing up at home and being tease here has 2 totally extreme opposite effects on me. The feeling is so odd for me that I'm at a lost of words for it.
I use to hate speaking Vietnamese with people around my age back at home and I hated when they speak Vietnamese in school or in public places because I felt that they are so fobby. Now I absolutely love speaking Vietnamese with the guys here because I feel it creates a bond between us. The students here are mostly Vietnamese and I am proud to be part of the majority and be able to be part of the "click" that they have here. It really creates a family feeling when we all sit together and speak our native language.
My friend Khoi posted this video on his facebook and I just can't stop watching it. I must of watched the video like 10 times today. I just love the accent, the singing voice and the love they have for God. The fact that they are twins and really pretty is a great bonus too haha!
