Community Life

I have to say, life at Divine Word College for me is pretty amazing this year. Last year I had a lot of drama with a lot of students but this year I am a senior living at a new house and all the drama is gone and life is just peachy =].

This year there are a pretty large group of new students at our school and I have to say, I am getting along with them pretty well. This year there a strong group of Hispanic people that came to our school and strangely enough I am part of their "click" I am like the token Asian guy as you can see in this picture. I have to say thanks to my good friend Hugo, I am totally comfortable with hanging out with Hispanic people. I have to say Hispanic people are very passionate people who aren't afraid to show their love. I feel so blessed this year because along with my Vietnamese group of friends, I am also close to the Hispanic people. When they go out they invite me to come along and I feel like I have the best of both world. This picture right here was not plan, this is a typical meal time at school me sitting with a bunch of Hispanic guys and one of the guy just happen to have a camera on them.

Being a senior this year, also mean that I have another community at the senior house. Every morning at 7:30 am and 10 pm we have morning and night prayer together. We have mass together and a formal dinner together every week and do a lot of activity together as a group.
I feel very blessed this year to be apart of so many different group. I am also this year the liturgy coordinator of VSA so I am in charge of VSA evening prayers and mass for every week which also puts me in the Cabinet for VSA. I wanted to join to joined the Hispanic club but their meeting time conflicts with VSA but I tried to be involved with them as much as I can.
