A Blessed Birthday

So another Birthday has past and I'm feeling very bless! Just like the previous Birthdays, this one was very memorable. This year I was assign to read for Mass, gotta say being able to read for mass on my Birthday was pretty special for me. It was pretty amazing how that worked out, Father Bill just randomly pick me to read and it happens to fall on my birthday =]. Also once a month I would meet with my spiritual director and somehow he schedule me to meet with him on my birthday. I think that was God's way of wishing me a happy birthday =].

Throughout the day, everyone who saw me wished me a happy birthday, I walked in a class room to visit some of the sisters before class starts and they sang happy birthday to me. One of them even gave me a package of cookies from Philly =]. Brian and Tracy sang and dedicated a song to me on youtube and a few of my friends called me to wish me a happy birthday.

One of my favorite memories of my birthday was going out to dinner with Dong. We really went through a lot this semester and it really brought us closer as friends. Since I can't be with my close friends at home, I am very happy to have Dong here.

This year I didn't really want to do anything big for my birthday, going to dinner with Dong was more then enough for me. However the guys here had other plans for me. I guess because of all the birthday parties I threw for them in the pass, they felt the need to return the favor and threw one for me. It really touch me when I was in my room talking with Dong and Kien walked in my room with bags of food telling me they celebrating my birthday tonight. Needless to say we had a great night of food, music and of course friendship! Dong even took pictures for me with his special camera.
