God sure know how to provide for me =]. After the whole drama with my brother and his car, my spirit was not very high. I was heading down the the dark ugly road of depression again. My brokenness from my pass was catching up with me again and I seriously thought I was gonna spend my weekend moping around my room being sad.
God, however had a different plane for me. He gave me so many opportunity this weekend to turn my frown upside down.
He first started on Friday with a awesome concert at my school with a Capella singing group call Chapter 6. They were simply amazing, I had goosebumps listening to them perform. They were so good that I had to buy a DVD so I can bring it home and show it to Brian and Hugo, I just know they going to love it. I can't wait to sit down and watch it with them =].
Saturday night was the turning point for me. A student randomly knocked on my door and told me there were food in room 207. One of the sister was celebrating her 25 year anniversary of her final vows and I guess they had left over food for us students. ( the celebration was private for the sisters only) I came into the room and there were a feast of delicious Vietnamese food. So a group of us students sat around eating delicious Vietnamese food and watching Chinese Kong Fu movies.
I was then reminded of the great community life I have here. These guys are really like a 2nd family to me. I had so much fun sitting around eating and laughing with these guys. I really needed company after the whole drama back at home and good company I got. Thank You Lord
The great reminder of a community life carried on until today. So Dong and I was randomly walking to the kitchen looking for some food and we stumble a pound a group of sister cooking. We had a culture dinner today and it was the sisters turned to cooked. I had so much fun "helping" the sister cooked. I had so much fun going around asking the sisters if I can " test" the food for them haha. I truly love having the sisters here, they really give me that "loving mother" kind of feel here.
So things may not be that great at home, but my home is now here and I can honestly say I am truly happy here and love my fellow brothers and "sisters" very much. I thank God with all my heart for reminding me of how great of a family and community life I have here, and how much I sometime take it for granted.
How not to talk to your single friends

Dating sucks. Unwarranted advice from friends and family make things worse.
They mean well. But they often get the whole “empathy” thing wrong. Years
